Through late May and June, our Mainspring teams across the region embraced the spirit of service—volunteering at local food banks, community organizations, and a farm sanctuary. From Seattle to Boise, every act of kindness reflected our shared commitment to community, compassion, and connection.
On Friday, June 6, we spent the morning volunteering, then gathered in Bellevue to reconnect across offices and celebrate the work we accomplished together.
Our Bellevue team sorted 9,600 pounds of apples at Food Lifeline, while Tukwila lent a hand at the Des Moines Area Food Bank, helping package nutritious meals for the food bank that serves more than 1,000 monthly visitors. Meanwhile, in Idaho, the team repacked more than 12,000 pounds of tortillas at the Idaho Foodbank, advancing their mission to nourish and empower communities statewide.
The team in Bend volunteered at The Giving Plate Community Store, supporting a compassionate, inclusive approach to food relief while team members in Langley spent a day at Ballydidean Farm Sanctuary—feeding rescued animals, crafting sustainable goods, and advancing environmental education. And from Magnolia, our team joined forces at FamilyWorks, sorting donations and packaging meals for neighbors in need.
Whether sorting apples, stocking shelves, or turning invasive plants into goat snacks, each moment embodied our belief: giving back isn’t just about the work—it’s about the people. These shared experiences brought us closer to each other and the communities we’re honored to serve.
Let’s keep showing up—with empathy, purpose, and teamwork. Because small actions truly make a big difference.
