It is of paramount importance that our clients understand their own values and how they relate to their financial situation. Because people often make important life decisions as a reaction to a stimulus, my job is to engage their financial awareness and help them to see the big picture so they can make decisions proactively. I offer clients the “mainspring” or foundation for making those decisions that will impact their lives for many years to come.
I am a natural teacher, and that was my career choice when graduating from college. Although a lifelong career in public education was ultimately not a fit, I still wanted to provide people with guidance and add to their knowledge. This career has been the perfect fit because I do not see myself as a financial consultant, but rather an educator. By teaching and helping clients to thoughtfully manage their finances, I hope to have a positive impact on their life, family, employees, friends and community, and that gives me a tremendous sense of joy and fulfillment.
Kids, kids, kids and more kids. My life is filled spending time with my two teenage children who go anywhere and do everything. They keep me engaged, energetic and young. My son and I have a passion for movies. We see them, review them and will soon have our own Siskel and Ebert “At the Movies” show on YouTube. The rest of my time is mostly spent actively pursuing various sports activities or observing them.
