Similar to the key role a mainspring plays in a precision timepiece, I enjoy playing a key role in my clients’ financial lives. This means having difficult family conversations surrounding important financial decisions and providing a guiding hand through meaningful life choices that can impact generations to come. I appreciate long-lasting relationships built on core values, disciplined goals, and dreams of the future. Using real world experience, I coach clients through the early phases of accumulation into financial independence and beyond, priding myself on a refreshingly honest approach to modern wealth management.
As a young boy I looked up to my grandfather who was a successful real estate investor. I enjoyed spending countless hours listening to his life stories and unique perspective on how the real world worked. During those years, he had five heart attacks and two strokes. I remember after each medical emergency he would have to sell another piece of property to fund his medical expenses. Toward the end of his life, I found myself giving my mentor the financial advice that would eventually shape how he left this world and the legacy he left behind.
I am driven by the memory of my grandfather/mentor, Andrew Jackson Chambers, and work hard in his name to ensure my clients have solid financial plans in place so they are prepared for the events that eventually affect us all.
When not at work I enjoy golf, music, family and friends. I am active in several service organizations – Highline Schools Foundation, Des Moines Rotary, Burien BNI, Southwest King County Chamber and Discover Burien – that provide me with the opportunity to give back to the local community where I was born and raised. I am also hopelessly in love with my wife, Jennifer G. Swanson, and my two lovely daughters, Aleczander and Gabriel.
