I believe that two of the most important aspects of this industry, which go hand-in-hand, are getting to know your client and really listening to their needs and wants. Both require fact-finding abilities, which can ultimately result in great advisor-client relationship and an overall better client experience.
As a Registered Sales Assistant, I utilize both aspects in supporting the financial advisors in my team, working directly with clients on their various service requests and/or questions, as well as the initial client onboarding process.
I have been in my role for 20+ years and have worked with some of our clients for all those years. I take great pride in my job and providing client-first service and when a client goes out of their way to thank me or expresses their appreciation for something I have done, it means a lot to me.
Because of my many years in this business, all with independent offices of Raymond James, I am often called upon by my colleagues as a resource for questions and working through difficult cases.
I am thankful for the financial advisors in my team and value their trust in me to work in depth with their clients and for providing a forum to allow me to bring input to our team to better the client experience and for working better together as a team.
Honesty, integrity, and ethics are foundations that I live and work by!
My husband Don and I like to spend our free time cycling. He has been cycling for several years and I took it up in January 2019, after many years of him recommending that I do so. I have been so surprised by how much I am loving it, and the cycling community in Washington is amazing. I have one stepson and we have two amazing grandchildren who live just outside of Medford, OR, and we do our best to make the long drive south to see them 3 to 4 times a year. We are avid sports fans and enjoy watching our Seattle teams on TV and attending games in person when the opportunity allows. Additionally, we like to “get away from it all” each November to celebrate our wedding anniversary by going to Jamaica, which we have been doing since 2008.
