The Mainspring office will be participating in the Friends of Youth Thanksgiving basket food drive to collect non-perishable holiday food items from now through November 13th, and we encourage your participation and support.
Friends of Youth provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic services for youth, young adults and their families to improve their emotional stability and self-sufficiency. With over 63 years of experience, 25 program sites and services in 18 cities, they provide safe places and emotional support for youth facing challenging circumstances.
Please partner with us to make this Thanksgiving holiday special for our youth. We will be collecting these items in our office from now through November 13th. Typical office hours are 8 am – 5 pm.Thanksgiving basket donation ideas include:
- Stuffing mix
- Cream of Mushroom soup
- Pumpkin pie mix
- Cranberry sauce
- Canned yams
- Instant potatoes
- Pie crust
In addition, perishable foods (such as turkey) can be given through a grocery gift card (Safeway, Fred Meyer, or QFC).
